The designation of HIGH IMPACT TEACHER is reserved for exceptional educators that make a positive impact on student achievement! Educators selected to apply for the High Impact Teacher Corps (HITC) have demonstrated the ability to get significant results for students in some of Florida's most struggling schools. This professional learning program was developed to equip high impact teachers with the knowledge, leadership skills, and networks necessary to extend their impact beyond the four walls or their own classrooms.
Members of the HITC engage in professional learning with multiple levels of support including in-person professional learning, online forums, one-on-one coaching calls and in-field coaching at their school. HITC teachers are provided with strategies, tools and coaching language along with opportunities to practice their teacher leadership skills within their cohorts and with a mentee at their school.
During the 2024 - 2025 school year, we launched the 7th cohort of the High Impact Teacher Corps. HITC is a growing network of educators who are achieving great success by positively impacting student learning in Florida.
